Ode to Baltimore

Can you BELIEVE we only have 6 days left?

How nice that someone came and rummaged through our car last night. Just Baltimore's way of giving us a kick in the butt on the way out.

How they've changed

Now that we are packing to leave Baltimore three years after getting here, I realize how much the kids have changed since we arrived. Here are some before and after pictures.

Ronnie before, age 2 years

Ronnie after, age 5 years

Ben before, age 8 months

Ben after, age 3 1/2 years

Lila before, single cell

Lila after, 1 year

I won't bore you with pictures of me and Edwin, but I will say that Edwin has gotten just a COUPLE more gray hairs, and I've added age defying moisturizer to my daily routine.

Three of a Kind Thursday

This week was WAY too short!

Monday - no school, Memorial Day
Tuesday - packing
Wednesday - finally, a work day
Thursday - a bris for a beautiful little baby (no, NOT mine!) and packing
Friday - no school, Shevuot, of course!

This leaves only one last week (thank goodness) in Baltimore. it's actually already Friday in Baltimore, but I'm going to squeeze in Three of a Kind Thursday before I collapse in bed.

Ahh, the joy of spring and the joy of first being plopped into a swing.

Wedded Bliss

After attending a family wedding last weekend, I decided this brand new design would make a great gift for the happy couple. Gold filled, double sided, sterling silver raised rim. What more could you ask for!

And I even managed to hide some m&m's from the candy bar at the wedding from Lila, and I took a picture of the back of the necklace. This hebrew saying means, "I am for my beloved, and he is for me."

Progress

Even better than packing boxes to take to CA is packing donation bags to get rid of! Cleanse, purge, start fresh. So far, I managed to pack 10+ bags to be picked up.

They left the baby, so I guess we are stuck with her. Awww, just kidding, Lila. We'd at least try consignment first.

12 days to go!

Three of a Kind Thursday

Not everyone gets to see their name in lights when they enter this world, but how lucky for the little Ostrins whose Grandma has a lot of say over the sign at her bank (she IS VP, you know).

And now, we could never have another match, because after hurricane Ike, they went and got themselves one of those fancy signs, that my mom is having lots of fun programming.

Another late night

It is 11:56 so I have 4 minutes to still get this posted on Wednesday!

After getting out a giant order. . .

I got to stamp another solid gold disc (I love these!).

It does make me a little nervous to stamp on these discs, but as my former adviser would say, if you don't get nervous anymore, the excitement is gone. Of course, he was referring to giving scientific lectures, and quoting the Rolling Stones who were referring to live concerts, but it still applies.

And in another 2 mintues, only 16 days until we leave Baltimore, forever!

Rimmed discs and more rimmed discs

I absolutely love stamping on these beautifully crafted discs by Patricia (gemini designs). They come in 17 mm and 25 mm, and in sterling silver with a silver or gold rim, or in gorgeous solid 14k gold.

You can build your own necklace with these unique discs at Under Her Charm.

Three of a Kind Thursday

Find 5 things that are similar in all of these pictures (answer at the bottom).

Ronnie

Ben

Lila

While you think about it, I'll say thanks to Etsy Admin for choosing the hand stamped sterling money clip for the front page yesterday!

OK, here are the answers, but if you find others, let me know:
1. The same lost look on each baby while they experience their first walk in an umbrella stroller (all 9-10 weeks old)
2. Same exact spot on Grandma's porch
3. The same blue umbrella stroller is used
4. Grandma's hands are pushing
5. Josh, the loyal cat, always walks with us!

Time to think about those guys

Now that Mother's Day has come and gone (thanks, dear, for the wii fit and carousel necklace!), it's time to start thinking about what to get all those great dads for Father's Day. There are plenty of great choices at Under Her Charm.

Make your guy the classiest one at the office with these hand stamped sterling collar stays.

A little something for the benjamins.

How about some personalized sterling cuff links for a night at the opera?

And what rocker dad wouldn't love a cool sterling silver guitar pick with his kids' names!

You sure can't go wrong with a Dad or Grandpa keychain.
Get them all and more in my Etsy shop!

Notice anything different?

Yes, her hairs are full of volume, but that's not it.

EARRINGS!

Man, I JUST packed up the last two Mother's Day gift for local customers to pick up. I'm ready for a break!

Three of a Kind Thursday

Don't you love that new puppy smell? Lila still has hers!

See if you can guess whose tummy Ronnie is curled up on:

And whose arm is Ben draped over:

And who is cradeling Lila's fuzzy head:

Happy Mother's Day to You

I've been pulling a few all-nighters to get Mother's Day orders ready to ship out.

But we did have some time to play outside and enjoy the flowers.

Or should I say EAT the flowers.

Boy, was that hard to pick off her tongue. . .

Happy Mother's Day to Me!

I made myself a new bracelet:
You can get one for yourself in my Etsy shop.

For TWO years, I have been secretly admiring this awesome website that has great jewelry and great gifts. And guess what! Now you can find Under Her Charm jewelry at Bliss Living. I'm honored!
Well, now I better get back to those 100+ orders I need to get out for Mother's Day, or I'm going to have some frantic husbands on my hands!

And thanks to everyone for not laughing at me for posting Three of a Kind Thursday on Wednesday. Boy, was I messed up! It's not just that I thought Wednesday was Thursday, but I also thought Tuesday was Wednesday, so poor Ben didn't get a sandwich in his lunch because I thought it was Pizza Wednesday. Sorry, Ben.
